Rooms quality and comfort

The Donna Eleonora B&B is a large first-floor apartment in a building that dates back to the 1960s. the apartment has three spacious and bright rooms. elegantly furnished and with all the modern comforts: en-suite bathrooms, heating, air conditioning, TV, a safe, a minibar and WiFi internet connection. All three rooms face onto the small square and have a view of the Cathedral’s belfry.

Entrance

At the entrance of the apartment there is a small reception area where the owner welcomes her guests. There is also a small library that has a wealth of books allowing the guests to learn more about the history and culture of the town and the surrounding area. Guests can also take advantage of an Internet point in the reception area.

All the rooms have spacious bathrooms equipped with all that a guest needs: large shower, toiletries, and hairdryer.

Rooms

The rooms are named after three artists who, through their works, have in different ways highlighted the region of Basilicata.

Luigi Guerricchio
This is the largest room and can accommodate a whole family as it has both a double bed and a sofa-bed. It also has two paintings illustrating moments from peasant life.

Carlo Levi
This is a double room which can also accommodate an additional bed. The room contains an excerpt from Levi’s work Christ stopped at Eboli bordered by photographs depicting life in the Sassi in the 1950^s and two prints illustrating scenes from the large painting Lucania ’61 which can be seen in Palazzo Lanfranchi.

Rocco Scotellaro
Another double room whose walls are adorned with one of the most famous works by the poet from Tricarico and photos of the most characteristic towns of the area.

Isabella Morra
This is a single room also equipped with all comforts. It is named to the Lucan poetess who lived in the first half of the 16th century.
